- 4 cups all-purpose flour

- ½ cup unsalted butter

Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water and instant yeast; let sit until frothy (5–10 minutes).
- In a stand mixer bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, eggs, and yeast mixture at low speed until combined. Gradually add room temperature butter.
- Knead the dough on medium speed for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl; cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (1-2 hours).
- Punch down the dough; divide into about 18 equal pieces and shape into balls on a lined baking sheet.
- Cover shaped buns and let rise again for 30-45 minutes until puffy.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush buns with egg wash (1 egg whisked with 2 tablespoons water) before baking.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown.
