Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Vanilla Extract (water-Free)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth using an electric mixer. Gradually add granulated sugar, flour, and vanilla extract while mixing until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, beating just until incorporated.
- Pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared crust and bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for another hour to cool gradually.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and then add sliced bananas and brown sugar. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until they turn golden brown. Sprinkle with cinnamon before removing from heat.
- In a saucepan, combine Vanilla Extract (water-Free), brown sugar, and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for about 2 minutes or until it thickens slightly.
- Once the cheesecake is completely cool, top it with caramelized bananas evenly spread across the surface. Drizzle generously with vanilla extract glaze before serving immediately.
