- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish; refrigerate for at least one hour (overnight for optimal flavor).
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F/190°C).
- Remove chicken from marinade (reserve marinade) and place on the grill. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked (internal temperature reaches 165°F/75°C), brushing with reserved marinade during grilling.
- Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.
