- 3 ripe bananas (medium-sized)

- 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease/flour a round cake pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and sugar.
- Beat the softened butter until creamy, then mix in mashed bananas and eggs.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in chopped walnuts.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While cooling, whip heavy cream to soft peaks.
- Once cooled, slice the cake horizontally if desired, spread whipped cream between layers and on top.
