- 4 organic green tea bags
- 3 sprigs fresh mint
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cups fresh pineapple juice
- Juice of 1 lime or lemon
Instructions
- Juice the fresh pineapple to yield 2 cups of juice.
- In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a gentle simmer and then remove from heat.
- Add the green tea bags and mint sprigs to the hot water, steeping for about 5 minutes.
- Discard the tea bags and mint, then pour the cooled tea into a pitcher.
- Stir in honey until fully dissolved.
- Add 2 additional cups of cold water, pineapple juice, and lime juice to the pitcher; mix well.
- Chill in the refrigerator before serving over ice, garnished with pineapple slices, lime wedges, and mint sprigs.
