Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two round cake pans with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs, then mix in the vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined to avoid overmixing.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow cakes to cool in their pans for about ten minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely. Frost as desired.
