- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp agar-agar powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch round baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and agar-agar powder until well mixed.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix in melted butter and vanilla extract until fluffy. Gradually add milk while whisking until smooth.
- Gently combine the wet and dry mixtures until fully incorporated without overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack for further cooling. Slice and serve warm or chilled.
