Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Combine wet and dry ingredients without overmixing.
- Divide the batter between pans and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
- Assemble the cake by layering one cake with whipped topping, then top with the second layer and frost with chocolate frosting.
