- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp (deveined)
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add shrimp seasoned with Cajun seasoning and sauté until pink and opaque (about 3 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Gradually stir in heavy cream and whisk until smooth. Add Parmesan cheese and mix until melted.
- Return shrimp to the skillet along with the fettuccine. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
