- 1 lb flank steak
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup low-sodium vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Slice flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic. Marinate beef strips for at least 20 minutes.
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté marinated beef until browned (about 5 minutes).
- Add vegetable broth and any leftover marinade; simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened.
- Toss cooked noodles with the beef and sauce until well combined. Serve hot.
