- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup shredded jack cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 2 tbsp fresh chives or green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear each side for about four minutes until golden brown.
- In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, and minced garlic until smooth.
- Place chicken in the baking dish and pour the sauce mixture over it generously.
- Top with shredded jack cheese and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh chives or green onions before serving.
