Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese and granulated sugar, then fold together gently.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form; fold into mascarpone mixture until smooth.
- Prepare the coffee mixture by combining cooled espresso with sugar and optional coffee liqueur.
- Dip ladyfingers quickly into the coffee mixture and layer them in small cups followed by mascarpone cream. Repeat layers until cups are filled.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
