- 1 box white cake mix (15.25 oz.)
- 1 package red jello (3 oz.)
- 1 package blue jello (3 oz.)
- 1 tub frozen whipped topping (8 oz.)
- 1 ½ cups boiling water (divided)
- 1 cup cold water (divided)
Instructions
- Bake the white cake as directed on the package using a 13×9-inch pan. Allow it to cool completely.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake every ½ inch.
- Prepare red jello by mixing with ¾ cup boiling water until dissolved; then stir in ½ cup cold water. Fill every other hole with red jello.
- Repeat for blue jello, filling in the remaining holes.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
- Spread thawed whipped topping over the entire cake and garnish with sprinkles or fruit before serving.
