Instructions

  2. Whip egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form; gradually add granulated sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, sift together almond meal and powdered sugar; gently fold into meringue with food coloring.
  4. Pipe small circles onto prepared sheets and let them rest for 30 minutes.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes or until set.
