Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Prepare Your Ingredients: Slice the sirloin steak against the grain and chop the green onions.
- Cook the Noodles: Boil salted water and cook the egg noodles according to package directions until al dente (about 5 minutes). Drain, reserving some pasta water.
- Sear the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the sliced steak and sear for about 3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Create the Sauce: Reduce heat slightly; add remaining butter and minced garlic to skillet, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce, beef broth, and ketchup while scraping up browned bits.
- Combine Everything: Return cooked noodles to the skillet with the sauce; toss gently to coat everything well.
- Serve It Up: Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
