- 1 box (15.25 ounces) strawberry cake mix
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 ½ cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup diced strawberries (plus extra for garnish)
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil; mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, beat together softened cream cheese and melted butter until creamy. Gradually add confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Once the cake is done baking, sprinkle with diced strawberries and white chocolate chips. Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture on top.
- Return to the oven for another 15–20 minutes until set.
- Cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
