Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken or beef
- 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, ginger, onion powder, and pepper.
- Place your meat in a shallow dish or Ziploc bag and pour the marinade over it until fully coated. Seal or cover and refrigerate for 8–12 hours.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove meat from marinade (discard excess) and grill until fully cooked.
- Let the meat rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing and serving.
